Check out the “Is Al-Anon or Alateen for Me?” page. Consider coming to a Al-Anon or Alateen meeting in your area. Meetings are a great way for a newcomer to learn about the program. District 8 invites you to their 11th Annual AFG Gratitude Dinner on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Greenville, NC. Speakers from AA, Al-Anon, Alateen will share their stories about this Family Disease. Taco Salad and Beverages will be provided. Download the flyer here! “Recovery: Work It Out!!” District 1 is holding their annual Fall Workshop on Saturday, September 30th starting at 8 AM and going until 2:30 PM. Join us to “work it out” with an inspiring day of Al-Anon breakout sessions, speakers (AA, Alateen, and Al0-Anon), a raffle, plus breakfast and lunch is provided! The North Carolina and Bermuda Area website has been redesigned to provide an updated look and improved meeting list functionality and better mobile device presentation. Newcomers will find the “About Al-Anon and Alateen” menu contains all the basics of the program, including 20 questions to help determine if the program is right for them, the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions, and the locations of the two Literature Distribution Centers.
