Charlotte Area 2017 Al-Anon-a-thon announced
The Annual Charlotte Area Al-Anon-a-thon has been announced for those seeking recovery during the holiday season. As in years past the meetings will be held at Anuvia on the corner of Randolph and Billingsley roads in Charlotte. Meetings will be held on the eves at 6, 8, and 10 PM and on the holidays at 9 AM, noon, and 3 PM.
The Al-Anon-a-thon is a series of meetings held on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day for those who might be experiencing more-than-normal challenges in their recovery due to the holidays. Of course, anyone just wanting to get some extra meetings is welcome as well.
The meeting format is relatively generic and should be recognizable by most members. There will be the standard openings, followed by the selection of a topic and a group sharing session.
Be sure to check the event calendar on the website to get specific address information.
